This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use Holddd — the mindful spending app (the "App"). Please read this carefully. 1. Information We Collect
Account Data
- Email address — used only for sign-in via Email OTP or Google Sign-In. We do not store your password.
Purchase Records
- Items you add to Holddd (name, price, timer duration, status: pending / saved / bought)
- Your decisions and timestamps — stored securely in your personal account
Personalization Data
- Survey answers: spending goal, monthly range, spending category
- Optional hourly wage (used locally to calculate Time-to-Earn)
App Preferences
- Theme (light/dark), language, currency — stored locally on your device via SharedPreferences
What We Do NOT Collect
- Bank account or credit card information
- Location data
- Contacts or photos
- Any data for advertising purposes
2. Third-Party Services
Holddd uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the App (saving your items, decisions, and statistics)
- To personalize your experience based on your survey answers
- To validate and manage your Pro subscription via RevenueCat
- To send local notifications (purchase deadline reminders) — entirely on-device, no data leaves your phone
- To generate your weekly digest and spending statistics — computed from your own data only
4. Data Storage & Security
Your account and purchase data are stored securely on Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled — meaning only you can access your own data. No other user or admin can read your records.
App preferences (theme, language, currency, wage) are stored only on your device and never leave it.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the service providers listed in Section 2 strictly to operate the App's features.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You may request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by:

We will delete all your data within 30 days of your request.
7. Children's Privacy
Holddd is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us immediately.

- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
